Hunter Claes, Lize Maekelberg en Vural Saglam kon je al tegenkomen bij eerdere edities van AQAF, in ons residentieprogramma voor jonge makers. Nu zetten we dat verhaal verder, met een erg diverse groepstentoonstelling.

You could already meet Hunter Claes, Lize Maekelberg and Vural Saglam at previous editions of AQAF, in our residency program for young creators. Now we are continuing that story, with a very diverse group exhibition.

‘Love Lies Bleeding is a haunting, pulpy affair about the whirlwind romance between a gym manager and an aspiring bodybuilder’, schrijft recensent Maria Lattila in Film Stories. Wij werden in het bijzonder aangetrokken door een zelden geziene lesbische dynamiek op het scherm: die van de skinny butch en de gespierde femme, een weinig onderzochte representatie die de binary uitdaagt. Queer icoon Kristen Stewart speelt de pannen van het dak in deze neonoir thriller.
